Latest 7 Award for Best Male Performance

Nominated for Latest 7 Award for Best Theatre Performance

Australian Danny Alder’s play is an often moving and frequently hilarious tale of a man suffering from early success and then writer’s block. Alone on stage but haunted by voices he scratches away at his situation like a scabby knee. The show is witty, clever and utterly compelling and the hour passes in a flash. Beautifully but simply realised it has a filmic quality that far exceeds one’s expectations of small venue theatre. Adler himself is flawless as he sings, cries and even dances his way through this mental breakdown.
